Brett Hood has been working on Jacob’s Farm for seven years. His favorite part about working on the farm is that he gets to interact with people from all walks of life and all ages. As a retired kindergarten teacher of 20 years he enjoys being able to create fun, interactive maze themes each year. Brett chose Michigan Shipwrecks as this year’s theme because he enjoys being able to educate others about interesting historical facts that come right from our Great Lakes. “There is so much history behind Michigan Shipwrecks and many shipwrecks are still being discovered, I knew it was the perfect theme idea.”

At Jacob’s Farm we spare nothing to assure that your experience will create lasting memories. We employ ten acres of farmland to create this experience and develop our plan using computer aided design technology and GPS to insure that everything is just right. Our maze design is changed each year and information contained within the maze reflects this design. Plan on being entertained for as long as two hours as you navigate the trails. This A-MAZE-ING adventure opens in late August and runs all the way through October.

Legacy Five at Grand Hotel – October 10 – 12, 2020

Legacy Five

Come experience Legacy Five performing live at Grand Hotel

Enjoy the Gospel and Christian music of band members:
Lee Black – Tenor
Scott Fowler – Lead Singer
Bryan Walker – Baritone
Matt Fouch – Bass
Josh Townsend – Pianist

Performing at Grand Hotel for the last 13 years, we look forward to welcoming Legacy Five back to the Grand stage this October. When the Legendary Cathedral Quartet retired in December of 1999, Scott Fowler and Roger Bennett decided to continue the rich musical tradition of Southern Gospel Quartet singing. Legacy Five was organized and had their official debut in January 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia. Since that day, they have made a major mark on the Southern Gospel Music world. Immediately audiences responded overwhelmingly to their four-part harmony and their ability to effectively communicate the message of Christ. Since the quartet’s formation, they have established and maintained a firm place at the top of Christian music.

The Legacy Five overnight package includes accommodations, dinner the night of arrival in the Main Dining room, breakfast Monday morning in the Main Dining Room, Sunday evening concert and Monday morning worship.

Accompanying Legacy Five this fall are musical acts Endless Highway and Uriel Vega. Endless Highway is a family comprised of Jason & Vanessa Griggs and their two children, Jay & Allison. Endless Highway offers a blend of Southern Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, Acapella, and Acoustic Music. Uriel Vega is a R&B jazz saxophonist who strives to create music with the sole purpose of inspiring and comforting the world.

We are honored to have this group perform for our guests this fall. To learn more follow their Facebook page or visit their website.
