Life sized corn mazes are fun for everyone, young and old alike. Experience our world class computer designed 10 acre corn maze creation, unlike any other in Northern Michigan!

This fall at Jacob’s Corn Maze, we have a Shipwreck theme. Join us at our 10-acre corn maze to explore shipwreck. Arrrr!

Brett Hood has been working on Jacob’s Farm for seven years. His favorite part about working on the farm is that he gets to interact with people from all walks of life and all ages. As a retired kindergarten teacher of 20 years he enjoys being able to create fun, interactive maze themes each year. Brett chose Michigan Shipwrecks as this year’s theme because he enjoys being able to educate others about interesting historical facts that come right from our Great Lakes. “There is so much history behind Michigan Shipwrecks and many shipwrecks are still being discovered, I knew it was the perfect theme idea.”

At Jacob’s Farm we spare nothing to assure that your experience will create lasting memories. We employ ten acres of farmland to create this experience and develop our plan using computer aided design technology and GPS to insure that everything is just right. Our maze design is changed each year and information contained within the maze reflects this design. Plan on being entertained for as long as two hours as you navigate the trails. This A-MAZE-ING adventure opens in late August and runs all the way through October.

Grand Hotel – Somewhere in Time Weekend – October 16 – 18, 2020

Somewhere In Time

Each year, our Somewhere in Time hotel weekend is one of the most popular and special events during the Grand Hotel season. It’s the perfect time for movie lovers who want to know the cinematic secrets of the timeless romantic classic, and a chance to visit with many people who played a role in the movie.

This special weekend includes a screening of the film, discussions of the movie’s production process, and appearances by returning cast and crew. Guests are invited to make a cameo appearance in costume at the cocktail receptions, costume promenade, and Grand Luncheon Buffet. Breakfast and dinner are also included daily.

Somewhere in Time

Filmed at Grand Hotel and on Mackinac Island in 1979, and released in 1980, Somewhere in Time stars Jane Seymour, Christopher Reeve, and Christopher Plummer.
