Our 8 modern cabins include a full kitchen with coffee maker, TV, bed linens and a charcoal grill. The Comfort Inn of Newberry is located three miles south of Newberry, Michigan. Our hotel comprises a two story 54 room property with queen rooms and 9 suites with whirlpool tubs. A large “hot tub” and sauna are located on site as well as laundry facilities, game area, ice, and vending machines. We feature a deluxe continental breakfast with ready to make waffles, bagels, toast, coffee, milk, cereals, juice, and more. We are in the middle of the snow-rich Keweenaw Peninsula with centralized access to many cross-country ski trails, snowmobile trails, 3 downhill ski areas, the fun University town of Houghton, and the Ojibway casino. 2-night minimum.
Our cottages sleep up to eight people. Each cottage has two or three bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen combination complete with cooking utensils, and a nice bathroom with shower. Fresh linens are furnished. The cottages are open in the winter months and are very near groomed trails. There is also dock space available if you want to bring your boat and a fish cleaning house for your convienience.
