Grab your cameras and head for the hills this weekend… a fantastic fall color tour weekend is happening in the Porcupine Mountains…

We are calling this the peak weekend as our color has come on fast and vibrant. The park is now 75% to 100% color. With any luck it may hold for the week ahead. Chairlift rides at the ski hill will be going on also this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 7pm. Tickets are $5.00 and kids under 12 are free. (photos courtesy Adriana Knack)

Fall Color Photo Tour – Northern Lower Michigan – October 7, 2015

The 2015 fall color season is a little behind this year in Northern Lower Michigan, however, we are now seeing pockets of vivid early color along the interior routes of Northern Lower Michigan. There should be good early season color along these routes this weekend and we’d expect the colors to peak along the interior routes next week and into next weekend – October 10 & 11, 2015.
