All tickets include entry to the ride and a glass of port (for anyone 21 and older) at the party at the Bistro directly following the ride.

The Highlander Mountain Bike Race is a real mountain bike race, on real mountain bike trails, created by real mountain bikers, for real mountain bikers.
Don’t miss this opportunity on September 24, 2016 to race on some of Northern Michigan’s premiere mountain bike trails with some of the area’s top racers. Our 7-9 mile loop along with road rollout and singletrack return will take you through some of Northern Michigan’s most scenic and challenging trails.
With natural features and man-made features this race course will have it’s share of challenges for every style rider at every level. The “long” racer will consist of two laps around this gorgeous track and the “short” race will do one lap. We can’t wait to rub tires and share some dirt with you this September.
FREE Kids Race
Under 6: This will be a short course on pavement for kids with Striders, scooters, and training wheels and starts at 2 pm.
Under 11: This will consist of multiple laps around the pond and will be around a quarter to a half mile and starts at 2:05 pm.
Under 16: This will consist of some singletrack and will be 2 to 5 miles long. Some sections will not be visible from spectator area and will start at 2:15 pm.
Short Youth Race: This is one lap on the regular course just like the adults and will take place at the SAME TIME as the adult race.
Cadillac to Mancelona Color Tour
Take in the color drenched beauty that Northern Michigan has to offer aboard our vintage passenger coaches pulled by a Great Lakes Central DIESEL Locomotive. Enjoy a relaxing ride while visiting with friends, playing cards, snapping some pictures, or just settling in with a refreshing beverage and snack from our lounge car.
Once we arrive at our destination, shop at local businesses or grab a bite to eat and take advantage of what these unique towns have to offer! There will be information about activities and places to go on board the train en route to our destination city.

On October 9th, 2016 the Half Marathoners for Devil’s Dive will start, followed by the 5K participants.
Along the way they will be greeted by devils, referees, cats, clowns, witches, angels, highlighters, zombies, minions and more! Race participants are encouraged to dressed up as well.
Post race food includes bananas, bagels, caramel apples, candy, apple cider, pumpkin donuts, and homemade cookies.

Plans are in the final stages for the 8th Annual Frankfort Film Festival slated for October 20-23 at The Garden Theater.
The Frankfort Film Festival will again bring award-winning films from around the globe to the big screen in downtown Frankfort. Live music, restaurant specials, spectacular fall color combined with exceptional cinema and delightful company make this annual event a “can’t miss” in Northern Michigan.
The film lineup for this year’s festival will be announced at the annual Launch Party scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 at 7pm at The Garden Theater. Following the Launch Party, the film lineup will be listed on this page.
Launch Party Tickets are $15 each and include delicious food and drink provided by Watervale Inn. Launch Party tickets are available at the door on the night of the event and are not sold in advance.

The Garden Theater box office opens one hour prior to each film showing for individual ticket purchases. Tickets for individual shows are not available for advance purchase.
