Original Murdick’s Fudge – Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island’s rich history and glorious natural beauty have drawn millions of visitors for decades.

The original on Mackinac Island since 1887, Murdick’s has been serving fresh homemade fudge, peanut brittle and confections from the finest ingredients. Bring the whole family and watch our expert fudge makers create over fifteen flavors of fudge and candies from fresh ingredients. Wedding fudge favors, gift packages, online ordering and shipping available.

We are justifiably proud of our rich heritage and will continue to live up to our Pledge of Purity that never allows imitation flavorings and only real cream and butter.

Wedding Fudge Favors

One of the classic bridal traditions on Mackinac Island is to have Murdick’s Mackinac Island Fudge Favors for your wedding guests. Murdick’s offers over 20 flavors of fudge with personalized gift boxes to commemorate your wedding day or special event. Fudge favors are a generous 3 ounce treat freshly made and packaged in a pretty 2 inch by 2 inch box. Custom icons are available and you may have your name and wedding date included on the box as well. Shipping is available for those having a wedding off Island.

Could not even contemplate doing that...my winter on the island will begin with some serious stocking up....as a kid here in Ohio.... never bothered me at all to be on the frozen river....way too chicken now....be safe....all of you....🙏🏻

Amazing

No nerve to do that..😬

It is hard for me to have that lake freeze solid

Rick, there is no ships now, the Locks are closed, the ones your seeing are just before ice formed, they transport hay over there loads of it by huge machines , like Bulldozers , they have lots of horses to feed,, so the ice is thick, thick,,

Follow the Xmas trees.

Up mode of transportation on Mackinac island

Unbelievable view. Never been there in winter.🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨

OK I keep seeing pictures of big ships coming through the straights, escorted by the USCG ship. How is there a ice bridge from the island to the mainland?

Me either

Go Michigan!!

Try walking it .did it

I’ll wait for the water to become liquid

Didn’t think the ice would come this year. Stay safe

Anthony Hoxsey

never in a million years!
