Original Murdick’s Fudge – Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island’s rich history and glorious natural beauty have drawn millions of visitors for decades.

The original on Mackinac Island since 1887, Murdick’s has been serving fresh homemade fudge, peanut brittle and confections from the finest ingredients. Bring the whole family and watch our expert fudge makers create over fifteen flavors of fudge and candies from fresh ingredients. Wedding fudge favors, gift packages, online ordering and shipping available.

We are justifiably proud of our rich heritage and will continue to live up to our Pledge of Purity that never allows imitation flavorings and only real cream and butter.

Wedding Fudge Favors

One of the classic bridal traditions on Mackinac Island is to have Murdick’s Mackinac Island Fudge Favors for your wedding guests. Murdick’s offers over 20 flavors of fudge with personalized gift boxes to commemorate your wedding day or special event. Fudge favors are a generous 3 ounce treat freshly made and packaged in a pretty 2 inch by 2 inch box. Custom icons are available and you may have your name and wedding date included on the box as well. Shipping is available for those having a wedding off Island.

My time on the island has always been so short that I've never just sat and relaxed. Beautiful

Original Murdick's Fudge

FUN FACT:
Did you know marble is a crucial component of making fudge the old fashioned way? The porous Marble absorbs the heat from the fudge so the fudge can slowly cool while it’s being creamed by hand.

So, how many men and horses does it take to deliver two of our FIFTEEN HUNDRED pound marble fudge tables?!

Mackinac Island is known for its delicious fudge and the yummy smell from the shops just draw you in! In addition to multiple fudge stores there are a number of quaint little shops offering a variety of handmade and unique gifts. My favorite store on the island was @poppinsonmackinac ❤️ they had great items and the staff was wonderful!
